With increasing pressure on the useable floor space within the building we were approached to address this by utilising the much under used courtyard. 

With a planning application submitted in late 2021, the infill build will rise on an inset courtyard over loomed by a section of glazed curtain wall and raised brick planters, sections of which will be removed for access. In its place, a smooth white render teardrop extension with Siberian Larch signage will rise.

Opened by Princess Anne in 2004, the Edinburgh facility helps blind and partially sighted people learn skills necessary to enter employment.
