Description: Single storey extension to provide kitchen diner with utiity room and accessible shower room. Further internal alterations to existing upper floor to increase bedroom provision.

Whilst not on the agenda when we started this project, our clients were selected to appear on the well-known Channel 4 programme ‘Phil & Kirsty’s love it or list it’.

The  period property was perfectly placed to receive all manner of materials and we opted for a simple render and timber cladding effect which works to both compliment the existing stone façade but also offer a juxtaposition of the historic versus the new.

The project also involved alterations to the existing upper floor and, whilst working within the existing footprint, the 2 bedrooms were transformed into 3 thereby instantly increasing the properties value.
